This may be a touchy subject for some but I am not singling any one team or player, this is just to show how we have let these players make a mockery of sports. Click for a list of salaries for the 2009-2010 seasons for the MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA.

There was a time in sports when a players contract and pay was determined by how well you played the previous season.  Every year a player was playing for his job the next season.  Now days teams pay players unheard of amounts with no guarantee.  These players get all this money and they can’t even pick up a bat and return it to the dugout on their way back.  No, they just walk right by it.  And in the NFL, players can’t even pick up a bottle of water and take a drink.  No someone does it for them. Look at the Yankees for example.  Their paying out roughly over 200 million dollars just next season on their players.  All I can say is they better win the World Series again.  Because if they don’t then they are wasting all that money.

The money that is paid out to these players is outrageous.  It should be included in a players contact that if the team pays “x” amount each year to a player then his stats need to be at a certain point at the end of the season or they cut his salary for the year.  They want to get payed to play then they need to earn it.

I understand players go through slumps but getting paid to play sports is in fact a job.  I’m not sure about you but I’ve never found a job that would pay me for half the work.  So why should sports be any different.

Well, where do I even begin on this one. I really don’t even know, this was literally right in my backyard. read story>>>

First off my prayers go out for those on Flight 253.  God was definitely watching over them today. And thank you for those who helped stop him.

Looks like they figured out that if you can’t board in the U.S. then do it in another country and come in.  However, they weren’t smart enough to pick one with the stamina not to blow his load to soon.

So my next question is, Mr. President what do you intend to do about it?  Do you still pull the troops out?  Or do you take off the leashes and let them do what needs to be done.  Terrorists do not abide by the Geneva Convention so why should we.

Now I know that this was a failed attempt and a lot of people are gonna say that and think we should not do anything about it, but the point is they still tried. And had they succeeded who knows the exact number of  lives that would have been lost. And not just American, but also the lives of everyone aboard Flight 253.

I am very interested to see what President Obama will do regarding this.  Does he  retaliate or will he just stay on his vacation in Hawaii and say it was someone else’s fault?

So I am trying to figure out what all the commotion is about with this four year old in Mesquite, TX. The kid was suspended for having his hair too long.

My first question to this is why in the world is this even in the news.  Do the reporters in this country really have nothing better to cover? This is so important that it needs to be in the news.  I think not.  But I’m an open minded person so lets run with it.

My next question is, what part of dress code do people not understand?  So you go against the school dress code and the school suspends you, and you get mad.  I know, their out to get you. NOT!!!!!  I get it, that rule shouldn’t apply to you or your kid. I could understand if it wasn’t part of the dress code, then I’d be like many of the other people saying “that’s just wrong and who cares” but it is their dress code.

Also for you people that are out there saying “that’s just wrong and who cares” apparently you want to show children today that it’s ok not to listen and follow rules.

I get sick of people that play online games that can only win by using glitches. Do you people suck so bad at a game that the only way you can win is by glitching or having a modded system or controller? It’s one thing when everyone in the room is glitching and just messing around in a private match, but when your playing a ranked match with other people that just want to play where is the skill? Oh wait I know, you don’t have any.

For example in this Youtube video, if you use this in an online ranked match, then you are a piece of crap and need to be banned from Xbox Live or PS3. Which ever you use.  Obviously you were never taught sportsmanship.  And if your that bored with the game or whatever the reason, don’t play it anymore.  Don’t ruin everyone else’s fun by glitching or using mods.   Play the game right or don’t play at all.

Now I know a lot of people are for abortion, but answer this, when a person murders a pregnant woman he/she is charged with two counts of murder, but when a woman has an abortion there is no consequences? Why isn’t she charged with murder as well? It sounds like murder to me. I mean what gives her the right to kill an unborn child?

THE LAW IS THE LAW

So “if” the US government determines that it is against the law for the words “under God” to be on our money, then, so be it.

And “if” that same government decides that the
“Ten Commandments”
are not to be used in or on a government installation, then, so be it.

I say, “So be it,” because I would like to be a
law abiding US citizen.

I say, “So be it,” because I would like to think that
smarter people than I are in positions to make good decisions.

I would like to think that those people have the
American public’s best interests at heart. BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I’D LIKE?

Since we can’t pray to God, can’t Trust in God and cannot post His Commandments in Government buildings, then I don’t believe the Government and its employees should participate in the Easter and Christmas celebrations which honor the God that our government is eliminating from many facets of American life.

I’d like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday, and Thanksgiving & Easter. After all, it’s just another day.

I’d like the” US Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter as well as Sundays.” After all, it’s just another day.

I’d like the Senate and the House of Representatives to not have to worry about getting home for the “Christmas Break.” After all it’s just another day.

I’m thinking that a lot of my taxpayer dollars could be saved, if all government offices & services would work on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter. It shouldn’t cost any overtime since those would be just like any other day of the week to a government that is trying to be “politically correct.”
In fact….

I think that our government should work on Sundays
(initially set aside for worshipping God…) because, after all, our government says that it should be just another day….
What do you all think????

If this idea gets to enough people, maybe our elected officials will stop giving in to the “minority opinions” and begin, once again, to represent the “majority” of ALL of the American people.
SO BE IT………..

Please Dear Lord,
Give us the help needed to keep you in our country!

‘Amen’ and ‘Amen’ Touché!

These are definitely things I never thought about but from now on, I will be sure to question those in government who support these changes…

I hope this makes its way around the USA several times over!!!!!
Let’s see that it does.

I received this via e-mail

Well, there is good news and bad news about my Christmas decorations.

The good news is that I truly outdid myself this year.  The bad news is that I had to take them down after only two days.  I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down. First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by. Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the ladder and almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn’t realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). She was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn’t take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard.

I think I made him too real this time. But it was fun while it lasted.

FORT WORTH, Texas – An Army psychiatrist who may face the death penalty after the mass shooting at Fort Hood was charged Wednesday with 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder relating to the scores of soldiers and two civilian police officers injured in the attack, military officials said.  read full article>>>

I don’t know if him going for the competency exam should be allowed. If my memory serves me correctly he himself is a psychiatrist.  So if he is then he would have a bit more of an advantage to play the mental incompetency card.  I’m not  a psychiatrist but I’d have to say he’s not crazy.  He didn’t just snap one day and go on a shooting spree.  He was informed that he was being shipped out and a week later he went on a shooting spree.  To me, that’s pre-meditated.
